How to Make Matcha

  • Sift 1–2g matcha (about ½–1 tsp) into your bowl
    → prevents clumps and gives a smoother drink

  • Add a small amount of hot water (70–80°C / 160–175°F / 60 ml)

  • Whisk quickly in a zigzag “M” motion
    → don’t stir in circles
    → use your wrist, not your arm

  • Whisk until a fine foam forms
    → tiny bubbles = good quality technique
